Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Sub-Project Manager – DCS Systems for BECCS Project to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Lead the development of the Project Design Manual with the EPC supplier, including standard type circuits (SW), HMI faceplates, naming conventions, signal designations, alarm policies, and programming guidelines
• Contribute to the technical design and system architecture of the DCS system, based on selected manufacturer and in line with the customer’s ICS standards
• Participate in HAZOP studies for the new BioCCS plant, including safety function classification
• Support the design and implementation of control and regulation algorithms, translating process and functional descriptions into detailed logic documentation
• Coordinate and align functions across electrical control and DCS systems for integrated monitoring and control
• Review and validate technical specifications provided by system suppliers
• Lead and participate in technical meetings with EPC and EP suppliers
• Contribute to cross-disciplinary EIC planning activities and proactively engage in project risk assessments
• Ensure security compliance and cybersecurity integration, including DMZ setup, backup solutions, remote access, and data storage
• Support the documentation and review of design and interface documents in accordance with internal standards

What you bring:

• Security clearance in accordance with security protection agreement with the customer
• Extensive and documented experience with the customer’s standard ICS structure
• Proven track record of implementing control systems for district cooling within the customer’s facilities
• Deep knowledge of DCS system architecture and design, including server infrastructure, controllers, communication networks, and I/O interfaces for ABB 800xA, PCS7, and T3000
• Strong experience in industrial process automation based on SIL classification and HAZOP/PID analyses
• Expertise in control and regulation design, including algorithm analysis and implementation
• Competence in designing and integrating automation and communication systems, with emphasis on DCS security, data handling, and compliance with cybersecurity standards
• Skilled in reviewing and assessing design and interface documentation
• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
• Valuable additional experience in creating and managing plant documentation according to the customer’s standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
