Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Android Infotainment Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Conduct hands-on validation, testing, and verification of Android-based infotainment systems directly in the end product (trucks)
- Perform software flashing, ECU installations, and troubleshooting in real-world environments
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues found during in-vehicle testing
- Utilize CI/CD tools and workflows, including Jenkins and Jira, to manage testing pipelines and track software quality
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and documentation for system-level validation
- Actively contribute to quality control by “breaking” the system to identify potential faults and verifying fixes
- Install and mount ECUs in the vehicle and verify functionality after software updates or hardware changes
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and validation strategies within the infotainment platform
What you bring:
- Development background in Android with proficiency in Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with testing and validation in embedded or automotive environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins and Jira
- Knowledge of software flashing and ECU integration
- Practical troubleshooting and system debugging skills in physical environments
- Familiarity with test case creation and execution for embedded systems
- Willingness to work physically with hardware components and test in operational vehicles
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- A C driver’s license is highly desirable for driving and testing purposes
