Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop and maintain business-critical systems using COBOL
  • Work with mainframe environments and associated tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of systems
  • Contribute to system design and development aligned with business processes
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in legacy systems

What you bring:

  • Strong programming skills in COBOL, SQL, and DB2
  • Solid experience with mainframe tools and environments
  • Understanding of IT system architecture and business workflows
  • Approx. 5 years of experience in COBOL development (candidates with less experience but strong aptitude and problem-solving skills will also be considered)
  • Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
