Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Category/Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead and manage IT sourcing activities independently, ensuring timely and effective delivery of outcomes
- Oversee contracts for group-wide applications, infrastructure, software, and cloud services, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements
- Support major contract negotiations and key software renewals in collaboration with Group Technology, R&D, and the Software Asset Management team
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, communicating relevant contract information across the organization
- Participate in governance activities and contribute to operational and functional development initiatives
- Clarify financial parameters, cost structures, and accounting methods for each contract
- Support vendor management, supplier development, and strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance value creation
- Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies and strengthen the capabilities of the IT Procurement team
What you bring:
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- 5–10 years of proven experience in IT procurement, ideally within large, complex organizations
- Demonstrated success in negotiating with global software suppliers, including experience with vendors such as Microsoft
- Strong track record in strategic sourcing, particularly in IT categories
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and manage diverse stakeholders
- Self-driven, business-focused, and capable of managing projects independently
- High proficiency in business tools for data analysis and presentation preparation
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel approximately 30 days per year
- Based in Stockholm, with availability for onsite presence several days per week
