Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of core COBOL applications within equity and savings trading
  • Work with business-critical applications such as AKTIV and NORA to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement solutions
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system functionality to support trading operations
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices in financial systems development

What you bring:

  • Solid experience as a COBOL developer, preferably within the financial sector
  • Proven expertise with the application AKTIV (equity trading engine) or NORA
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex, business-critical systems
  • Experience in problem-solving, performance tuning, and debugging in COBOL environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; Swedish is considered meritorious
