Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Lead QA/QE Engineer – Embedded Systems Testing to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on
- Lead the QA/QE team in validating end-to-end functionality of complex embedded systems
- Define and execute test strategies, plans, and coverage metrics
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware teams to ensure integration and interface coverage
- Design and conduct system tests including stress, performance, fault injection, and long-duration testing
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded platforms
- Drive root cause analysis of system-level defects and coordinate resolutions
- Establish QA processes, best practices, and tools to improve efficiency and quality
- Mentor the test engineering team and report on progress, defect metrics, and release readiness
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive QA/QE experience in embedded systems, with proven leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of embedded platforms, RTOS, and hardware/software integration
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Python
- Experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework, pytest, or Jenkins
- Skilled in debugging using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related tools
- Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for embedded systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with safety-critical or high-reliability systems such as ISO 26262 or DO-178C (preferred)
- Knowledge of security testing and compliance validation (preferred)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments (preferred)
