Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Automotive Software Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and implement embedded software architectures for in-house ECUs used in advanced automotive applications
- Develop, optimize, and maintain real-time software in C on ARM-based platforms with CAN communication
- Translate system requirements into robust, testable embedded architectures with clear module boundaries and interfaces
- Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration
- Prototype new solutions, perform deep-dive debugging using lab equipment, and harden features for release
- Set up, evolve, and maintain build environments and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable integration and testing
- Contribute to coding standards, design reviews, architecture runways, and documentation for long-term maintainability
- Drive root-cause analyses of complex issues spanning software, tooling, and hardware domains
What you bring:
- More than 8 years of experience in the automotive industry with strong embedded systems expertise
- Proven track record in C programming for real-time embedded applications
- Solid knowledge of ARM architecture, middleware integration, and CAN communication protocols
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, build environments, and automated testing frameworks
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex embedded systems with hands-on lab tools
- Strong communication skills with fluency in Swedish and English
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to combine architectural vision and low-level implementation
