Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Service Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Prepare technical scopes for gas turbine overhauls, repairs, and spare parts in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
- Support the creation of sales proposals tailored to customer requirements and site-specific conditions.
- Recommend service bulletins, modifications, and improvements to optimize turbine performance, reliability, and availability.
- Define site activities, tooling, instruments, spare parts, and consumables needed for successful overhauls.
- Act as technical lead during maintenance project execution, working closely with project managers and field service teams.
- Provide troubleshooting support and propose tailored technical solutions to customer issues.
- Support modernization and upgrade projects during both sales and execution phases.
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution and provide continuous technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to Long-Term Program (LTP) contracts by delivering technical scope input and feedback for turbines under responsibility.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
- Experience with gas turbines or other rotating equipment (Siemens turbines experience is an advantage).
- Strong collaboration skills with internal stakeholders, project teams, and customers.
- Ability to coordinate technical discussions, lead meetings, and present scopes confidently.
- Proven problem-solving skills, adaptability, and technical curiosity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in IT tools and systems relevant to engineering and maintenance.
- Experience in medium-sized gas turbine maintenance, service business environments, or rotary equipment maintenance (advantageous).
