Senior Databricks Platform Lead - 13026

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Databricks Platform Lead to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Identify, design, and implement platform improvements in Databricks, including Unity Catalog adoption, developer experience, and robustness
Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and automation to support efficient onboarding, scaling, and developer productivity
Mentor and guide platform developers in coding standards, DevOps, and ETL best practices
Lead technical forums, share product news and features, and drive improvements in product experience
Review and approve solutions for pipelines, workspace setup, and infrastructure automation
Ensure consistent delivery quality across a global team
Contribute hands-on to development in PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and ETL workflows
Support infrastructure automation with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot performance, networking, and integration issues

What you bring:

Strong coding background in Databricks ETL, including PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake
Experience with infrastructure automation and Azure integration, including Terraform, networking, and related services
Solid project and time management skills with ability to deliver results in dynamic environments
Ability to bridge platform engineering and data engineering by creating reusable and scalable solutions
Proven experience leading small technical teams or acting as a senior developer guiding others
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
