Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and enhance web-based applications as part of a cross-functional team including developers, product owners, designers, and QA
Focus primarily on backend development while contributing to creating modern, user-friendly, and high-performing products
Work with distributed systems and large-scale data solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability
Contribute to system design and architecture while writing efficient, robust, and maintainable code
Collaborate closely with team members to deliver end-to-end product functionality

What you bring:

Deep expertise in Scala, with strong knowledge of Python and TypeScript
Experience working with complex distributed systems and handling large data volumes
Strong background with databases and messaging systems such as MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch
Familiarity with DevOps environments, Linux/Unix systems, CLI tools, REST and GraphQL APIs
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is a plus
Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional teams with strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-driven, proactive, and able to take initiative in problem-solving
Fluency in English, with Swedish being an advantage
