Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior FPGA Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Lead and mentor a team of FPGA developers, ensuring high-quality design and implementation
  • Design and develop FPGA-based readout systems for neutron detectors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists and engineers to optimize system performance
  • Deploy, test, and validate FPGA solutions in real-world applications
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing FPGA designs for improved performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations

What you bring:

  • Strong experience in FPGA development, preferably using VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Proven hands-on expertise in FPGA simulation, verification, and testing
  • Proficiency with hardware debugging tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding and mentoring FPGA engineers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is an advantage)

Extra merit qualifications:

  • Experience in scientific instrumentation or neutron detection
  • Knowledge of high-speed data acquisition and signal processing
  • Familiarity with hardware/software co-design
