Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs
- Manage and strengthen supplier relationships to ensure performance and reliability
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms
- Coordinate supplier integration activities to support operational efficiency
- Monitor and analyze market trends that impact pricing and material availability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and define service levels
- Lead transformation projects such as digitalization and sustainability initiatives
- Independently manage complex projects and deliver results in line with strategic goals
- Support capability building by coaching and guiding junior colleagues
What you bring:
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Solid analytical ability to assess market developments and identify opportunities
- Demonstrated success in driving cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
- Experience leading or contributing to transformation projects, including digitalization and sustainability
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions and levels
- Strong project management skills with the capacity to handle complex challenges independently
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver tangible results
