Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Category Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Analyze and develop the category by reviewing cost data, identifying savings opportunities, and monitoring market, pricing, and innovation trends
- Optimize supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost, service, and technology (Q, D, C, S, T) while building and maintaining a competitive supplier base
- Design and execute category strategies in close collaboration with stakeholders, aligned with KPIs and strategic goals
- Negotiate and secure supplier agreements, lead SRM meetings, and proactively manage risks and capacity planning
- Drive innovation and synergies by leveraging supplier development capabilities and the group’s scale to create long-term value
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and ethical guidelines, while maintaining accurate systems and processes
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Category Buyer or Strategic Purchaser, preferably within soft materials and molded components
- Strong skills in cost analysis, supplier management, and category strategy development
- Solid negotiation experience with the ability to secure favorable and sustainable supplier agreements
- Familiarity with SRM, risk management, and capacity planning
- Ability to identify and drive innovation in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, analytical, and results-driven approach with a focus on long-term value creation
- Fluent in English and Swedish
