Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Drive and quality-assure architectural work within both projects and ongoing operations.
- Develop and maintain architectural principles, standards, and reference models to ensure consistency across solutions.
- Lead and support infrastructure and platform architecture activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, security specialists, and external suppliers to design secure and efficient IT solutions.
- Communicate and anchor architectural and technical decisions across the organization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework.
- Act as a trusted advisor in infrastructure design, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
What you bring:
- Relevant post-secondary education in IT, engineering, or equivalent discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience as an Infrastructure Architect in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in strategic design and implementation of IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of networks and network architecture (LAN/WLAN/WAN, switching, routing, load balancing, and firewalls).
- Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Excellent understanding of VMware, backup, and storage technologies.
- Ability to model, visualize, and document complex IT environments using tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or equivalent.
- Experience working with architectural governance and IT frameworks in large organizations.
- Experience in leading workshops and technical briefings.
- Background in the financial sector or other regulated industry is meritorious.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
