Job Description
Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Hardware Development to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On
- Drive and manage hardware (HW) development projects from initiation to delivery.
- Plan, monitor, and report on project scope, schedule, cost, and quality; present progress and key decisions in Steering Committees and Change Control Boards.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers to ensure transparent collaboration and effective delivery.
- Perform effort and cost estimations, and schedule work based on resource capacity and task interdependencies.
- Proactively identify, document, and mitigate technical and project risks.
- Approve key project deliverables, including technical documents and baselines, and hand over results to programs or higher-level product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to introduce new suppliers and support factory integration.
- Work closely with Program Managers, HW Systems Engineers, Embedded Software Developers, Type Test Engineers, and peer Project Managers to ensure seamless information flow.
- Represent the HW team in cross-functional and cross-organizational forums, ensuring accountability for development cost, delivery speed, and production quality in an agile setup.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience in industrial electronics production and/or electronic development projects.
- Formal project management qualification and/or equivalent hands-on project management experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects with a structured and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (technical fluency required; Swedish is an advantage).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while driving initiatives forward in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in agile settings and adapting to changing priorities.
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite; familiarity with xECM is an advantage.
