Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Lead mechanical design engineering within a defined technical area of moderate complexity.
- Maintain a holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces to ensure quality and readiness before release.
- Design technical solutions according to given prerequisites, including function, style, volume, geometry, cost, quality targets, and regulations.
- Integrate deliveries from multiple disciplines to secure overall design quality before release.
- Provide input to product and system roadmaps, supporting project prerequisites based on component history.
- Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team, mentoring and coaching colleagues.
- Participate in business development and innovation initiatives, building networks with universities and external institutes.
- Ensure mechanical design activities meet business targets and requirements.
What You Bring:
- Extensive experience in mechanical design and product development, typically 10+ years.
- Strong automotive knowledge, preferably within trucks.
- Proficiency in servo, suspension, and axle installations.
- Solid coordination skills and ability to drive collaboration across teams.
- Strong documentation, reporting abilities, and attention to detail.
- CAD proficiency in ProE / CREO and familiarity with simulation tools.
- Knowledge of KOLA or similar automotive standards.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a subject matter expert within the team.
- Experience in project work and understanding of cross-functional delivery processes.
- Broad technical perspective with deep expertise in mechanical engineering and the ability to contribute to strategic roadmaps.
