Assignment Overview

We are looking for AI & Data Governance Specialist – Level 3/4 – Mining industry

What You Will Work On

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of data and AI governance frameworks aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Drive day-to-day governance operations, including documentation, process optimization, and operational execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with governance councils, business units, IT, and other stakeholders to harmonize data definitions and governance processes.
  • Support monitoring and implementation of regulatory compliance requirements, including EU Data Act and EU AI Act.
  • Contribute to establishing and maintaining ethical AI standards and responsible AI practices.
  • Assist in translating regulatory requirements into practical governance controls and operational processes.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure adoption and awareness of governance practices across the organization.
  • Contribute to training initiatives and knowledge-sharing efforts within data and AI governance domains.
  • Support implementation of modern governance approaches such as Data Mesh and federated governance models.
  • Help ensure scalable governance structures that balance decentralized ownership with global standards.

What You Bring

  • Proven hands-on experience in Data Governance and AI Governance.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, regulatory compliance, and AI ethics.
  • Practical experience implementing EU Data Act and EU AI Act requirements within governance frameworks.
  • Experience translating regulatory and strategic requirements into operational processes and controls.
  • Familiarity with Data Mesh and federated governance concepts and their practical application.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with business leaders, IT teams, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive adoption and influence across organizational levels.
