Assignment Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Engineer

What You Will Work On

  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis of paperboard and packaging materials
  • Prepare material samples for testing and evaluation
  • Conduct mechanical, physical, and material property analyses
  • Operate laboratory instruments and testing equipment
  • Record, analyze, and document test results
  • Generate laboratory reports and technical documentation
  • Manage laboratory orders and sample workflows
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Ensure testing activities follow standard operating procedures
  • Support laboratory capability development and process improvements
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues, researchers, and stakeholders requesting analyses

What You Bring

  • Previous laboratory experience
  • Experience performing testing, analysis, or quality-related laboratory work
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to follow laboratory procedures and quality standards
  • Experience documenting and reporting technical results
  • Good organizational and data-handling skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
  • Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and reliability
