Assignment Description:

We are looking for an Automotive Electrical Harness Design Engineer

What you will work on:

Design, review, and update electrical wiring harnesses for automotive and heavy-duty vehicles
Create and review circuit diagrams, wiring harness layouts, cable routing, and installation drawings in CATIA V5 and Saber
Support and coach other harness designers in technical design work
Investigate and respond to problem reports, deviations, and change requests
Troubleshoot electrical issues identified on vehicles
Drive and support field quality issues until resolution
Review designs in 3DEXPERIENCE and manage engineering changes using OAS and ECO processes
Work closely with cross-functional engineering and production teams

What you bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
Strong background in automotive electrical systems and vehicle development
Minimum 6 years of experience in the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry
Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems and EMC-related work
Experience working with defense or special vehicle electrical systems is an advantage
Strong skills in CATIA V5, Saber, and 3DEXPERIENCE for harness design and review
Experience with engineering change management and ECO processes
Ability to manage high workload and prioritize tasks effectively
Fluent in English and basic Swedish, with willingness to improve Swedish skills
