Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Software Engineer with strong Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Powertrain Control Systems experience.
What You Will Work On
- Develop and maintain software for transmission management systems
- Design and implement control strategies and vehicle functions
- Develop gear-shifting functionality for:
- Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles
- Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV)
- Define and document software requirements
- Perform software implementation, testing, and verification activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Develop embedded software primarily using C
- Design and implement control logic using Matlab/Simulink
- Participate throughout the complete V-cycle development process
- Perform:
- Unit Testing
- SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) Testing
- Vehicle-Level Testing
- Support validation and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with system engineers, testers, and vehicle integration teams
- Contribute to the development of innovative and high-quality automotive solutions
What You Bring
- Strong experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development
- Experience developing Powertrain Control Systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- Transmission Management Systems
- Motor Generator Control Units (MGCU)
- Powertrain Control Functions
- Experience working with Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technologies
- Experience developing real-time, safety-critical software systems
- Strong programming skills in:
- Experience using:
- Experience with software testing and verification methodologies
- Knowledge of automotive software development processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams
