Job Description

Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Software Download Diagnostic Engineer

What you will work on

  • Developing software reload functions for ECUs across vehicle models
  • Ensuring alignment between developed diagnostic functions and technical and diagnostic requirements
  • Maintaining and improving existing software download functions for previous vehicle models
  • Supporting technical support teams with troubleshooting and fault tracing related to software downloads
  • Developing diagnostic tool functionality using JavaScript within the Codiac environment
  • Collaborating with engineering and support teams to ensure reliable diagnostic processes

What you bring

  • Strong knowledge of ISO-14229 (Unified Diagnostic Services – UDS)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience developing aftermarket software download tools
  • Previous experience working as a technician in an automotive workshop environment
  • At least 5+ years of experience with JavaScript development
  • Experience working with the Codiac diagnostic suite
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with content authoring for workshop manuals or diagnostic systems
