Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Develop and implement architectural principles, best practices, and guardrails for using Azure DataBricks in managing large data sets and performing advanced analytics.
- Design, implement, and maintain data flows to make data accessible for data scientists, facilitating their analytics on the platform.
- Collaborate on overall architecture integration that includes SAP Analytics products to ensure a cohesive system.
- Optimize and automate data pipelines for various data formats, including real-time data flows.
- Contribute to the expansion and refinement of the group’s capabilities with Azure DataBricks, enhancing its functionality and integration with existing SAP products.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in working with architectural challenges and effectively sharing knowledge within a team.
- Deep expertise in data modeling and processing of large data sets using tools such as Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated data pipelines for diverse data formats, including real-time data streams.
- Strong experience with the Azure ecosystem, including Azure DataBricks, Data Lake Store, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in implementing machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Scala.
- Experience with Power BI and SAP Analytics products is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data consumption via REST APIs.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in Swedish (both spoken and written).
- Very good command of English (both spoken and written).
