Job Description

Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer

What You Will Work On

  • Design and implement new backend functionality for team services
  • Build and scale services using Java, Postgres, and BigTable on Google Cloud Platform
  • Develop and manage data pipelines using tools such as Scio and Flight
  • Participate in technical deep dives, workshops, and stakeholder demonstrations
  • Collaborate closely with team members and provide/receive constructive feedback
  • Solve complex technical problems with a strong action-oriented mindset

What You Bring

  • Experience building and scaling backend services in Java
  • Experience with Postgres and BigTable on Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with data pipelines and tools like Scio or Flight
  • Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in collaborative teams
