Assignment Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Scientist with expertise in Proteomics, Bioinformatics, and Data Science
What You Will Work On
Drive MS–Olink Data Integration Strategies
- Develop and establish best practices for integrating Mass Spectrometry (MS) and Olink proteomics datasets
- Design and execute analyses demonstrating the scientific value of combining complementary proteomics technologies
- Generate evidence supporting:
- Biomarker discovery
- Pathway enrichment analysis
- Predictive modeling
- Biological interpretation
- Translational research applications
- Develop scientific case studies, white papers, technical documentation, and data-driven insights
- Communicate scientific findings internally and externally
Build Interoperability Solutions
- Define requirements and use cases for integrating MS-derived results into Olink software platforms
- Evaluate existing prototypes and contribute to future solution design
- Collaborate with software development teams to create scalable and maintainable solutions
- Lead data ingestion, transformation, and harmonization initiatives
- Develop workflows for converting MS outputs into formats compatible with Olink applications
- Partner with scientific, technical, and commercial stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery
Expand Analytical & Visualization Capabilities
- Develop advanced analytical workflows for proteomics data analysis
- Enable capabilities such as:
- Principal Component Analysis (PCA)
- Clustering
- Differential Expression Analysis
- Pathway Analysis
- Sample Stratification
- Exploratory Analytics
- Leverage biological annotations and knowledge bases to improve interpretation of proteomics datasets
- Validate analytical performance and user experience through testing and customer feedback
- Support the development of customer-facing analytical tools and scientific software capabilities
What You Bring
- MSc, PhD, or equivalent degree in:
- Bioinformatics
- Computational Biology
- Data Science
- Proteomics
- Systems Biology
- Related scientific discipline
- Strong understanding of Mass Spectrometry-based proteomics
- Experience working with high-dimensional omics datasets
- Experience applying statistical and computational methods to biological data
- Proficiency in:
- Python
- R
- Experience developing analytical workflows and scientific data models
- Strong scientific communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
