Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced EHS Coordinator specializing in Chemical Management
What You Will Work On
- Coordinate and manage chemical safety activities across workshops and office operations.
- Ensure compliance with REACH, CLP regulations, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and applicable chemical legislation.
- Review, approve, and register new chemicals in iChemistry and SharePoint.
- Administer and maintain the iChemistry chemical management system.
- Lead and support chemical risk assessments together with operational teams.
- Coordinate and manage the annual chemical inventory process.
- Provide expert support to the business regarding chemical handling and regulatory compliance.
- Develop user guides, documentation, and training materials for iChemistry.
- Monitor and manage chemical-related inquiries and shared support channels.
- Act as the organization’s Dangerous Goods Coordinator.
- Collaborate with external Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (DGM) and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the business with hazardous goods regulations and transportation requirements.
- Monitor employee training requirements related to chemical safety and dangerous goods.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in environmental, health, and safety practices.
- Travel to other company sites within Sweden when required.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in chemical management, EHS, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of REACH, CLP Regulation, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and chemical legislation.
- Experience working with chemical registration, compliance, and chemical management systems.
- Experience performing chemical risk assessments.
- Knowledge of hazardous goods regulations and Dangerous Goods coordination.
- Experience administering chemical databases such as iChemistry or similar systems.
- Ability to coordinate annual chemical inventories and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong understanding of chemical compliance within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and advise operational personnel.
- Experience developing user documentation and training materials is an advantage.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in Finspång at least three days per week and travel to other Swedish sites when required.
