Assignment Description

We are looking for a CAE Engineer

What you will work on

  • Perform crash and durability simulations for battery electric vehicle development
  • Work with LS-DYNA together with ANSA and META for CAE analyses
  • Support design activities and physical crash testing with simulation results
  • Maintain and further develop simulation tools and environments
  • Contribute to the development of ANSA DM / SimManager integrations for crash and strength simulations
  • Collaborate closely with software suppliers on simulation solutions
  • Evaluate and validate new releases of simulation software
  • Act as an interface between the Simulation Enablement team and engineering teams
  • Develop, maintain, and manage simulation scripts in GitLab, mainly for cab simulations

What you bring

  • MSc or PhD in Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with a focus on computational mechanics
  • Strong proficiency in crash and durability simulation methodologies
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Basic or good knowledge of Swedish is considered a merit
