Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Cable Harness Designer
What You Will Work On
- Design cable harness routings for truck chassis applications
- Design brackets and mounting solutions for Vehicle Cable Architecture (VCA)
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics using SABER
- Create and update electrical design documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle
- Support electrical system integration within chassis development projects
- Ensure cable harness designs meet technical, quality, and manufacturing requirements
- Participate in Agile development activities and engineering reviews
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to resolve design challenges
- Coordinate with multiple project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvements in design processes and engineering practices
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Cable Harness Designer, Electrical Design Engineer, or Automotive Electrical Engineer
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design or engineering
- Experience designing cable harnesses, wiring systems, or vehicle electrical architectures
- Experience creating electrical schematics using SABER is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of cable routing, harness packaging, and electrical integration
- Experience working within automotive or commercial vehicle development
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional project teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, structured, and capable of managing multiple engineering activities simultaneously
- Experience with truck chassis development is considered an advantage
- Previous experience with the end client is considered highly meritorious
- Ability to work onsite five days per week throughout the assignment
