Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Design and develop scalable data platforms for royalty, payment, and financial processing
- Build data pipelines that process large-scale transactional, usage, and financial datasets
- Transform consumption and rights data into accurate royalty calculations and payouts
- Develop platform capabilities supporting earnings logic, settlements, and payment workflows
- Build and optimize solutions using modern cloud-based data technologies
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, traceability, and auditability across data processes
- Design scalable and maintainable data architectures
- Contribute to backend and platform development activities when required
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and tooling
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Maintain high standards for testing, documentation, and software quality
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in Data Engineering
- Strong experience working with large-scale transactional, usage, or financial datasets
- Solid expertise in Scala and modern data engineering frameworks
- Experience with Scio and/or Google Cloud Dataflow
- Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery
- Experience collaborating closely with backend systems, preferably using Java and/or Python
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, data quality, testing, and documentation
- Experience working with stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Engineering organizations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in complex and rapidly changing environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
