Assignment Overview
We are looking for a System Engineer – Gas & Fire Detection
What you will work on
- Designing and developing systems for fire detection, fire suppression, and gas detection
- Contributing to product development and improvement of existing safety systems
- Evaluating and implementing new detection technologies such as hydrogen detection
- Collaborating with engineering teams, procurement, and suppliers
- Supporting sales, order management, installation teams, and service functions
- Ensuring solutions are cost-efficient, high-quality, and compliant with market requirements
- Working with technical documentation and system design tools
- Managing technical interfaces across multiple engineering disciplines
- Participating in technical problem-solving and system optimization
- Using Teamcenter and Comos tools in daily engineering work
What you bring
- Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
- Experience working as a system engineer or within technical product development
- Understanding of system design and multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Experience with technical problem-solving and system analysis
- Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience with technical documentation and engineering tools
- Knowledge of fire detection, gas detection, or suppression systems is a strong advantage
- Experience in plant design, instrumentation, or electrical installations is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams
- Fluency in English, Swedish is considered a plus
