We are currently looking for an experienced Interim Manager
What You Will Work On
- Lead and manage the Research Testing section and metallography laboratory operations
- Establish and implement structured weekly planning and governance for the engineering team
- Coordinate engineering support across mechanical testing, chemical analysis, and metallographic testing
- Drive methodology development and laboratory process improvements
- Ensure quality follow-up, validation activities, and compliance with laboratory standards
- Support operational testing activities and maintain delivery capability
- Act as technical and operational expert in internal and external collaborations
- Lead team development and strengthen competence, motivation, and initiative
- Manage budget responsibilities and operational performance
- Drive goal-setting, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure safe operations with responsibility for work environment and environmental practices
- Build collaboration across laboratory functions and stakeholder groups
What You Bring
- Academic degree in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline
- Leadership experience combined with a strong interest in people development and team performance
- Experience managing laboratory, testing, engineering, or technical operations
- Ability to balance structure, prioritization, and operational efficiency
- Strong understanding of delivering reliable and high-quality technical results
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration and building long-term stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication and coordination capabilities
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, written and spoken
