Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

Contribute to the development of embedded applications within the Application team, focusing on camera software for handheld devices.
Collaborate with GUI developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of application components.
Engage with a complex software system that spans a large product family, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Participate in the planning and execution of software development projects using Jira for project tracking.
Document processes and development progress in Confluence to maintain clear communication across the team.
Take ownership of your work, proactively identifying potential risks and communicating them to the project team.
Participate in testing initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance of embedded software.

What You Bring:

Several years of professional experience in C++ development, with a strong understanding of best practices in software engineering.
Proficiency in embedded Linux, with hands-on experience in developing applications within this environment.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and documentation platforms like Confluence.
Experience using BitBucket for version control and collaboration.
Proficiency in Swedish to facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with the ability to see the big picture and contribute to project success through effective risk management.
