Assignment Description
We are looking for an Application / Mechanical Design Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to understand customer requirements and technical specifications
- Translate customer needs into practical engineering and design solutions
- Develop and present customer-specific technical proposals
- Adapt and modify existing mechanical and system solutions
- Perform mechanical design activities using 3D CAD tools
- Create production drawings and technical manufacturing documentation
- Support smooth handover from design to production
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
- Ensure designs align with manufacturability, quality, and performance requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the product portfolio
- Support engineering documentation and technical clarification activities
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Mechanical Engineering, Machine Engineering, or similar technical field
- Experience from mechanical design, application engineering, or technical documentation roles
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturability
- Good experience working with 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
- Ability to independently develop technical solutions and documentation
- Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under time pressure and manage technical deliverables
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
- Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional engineering environments
- Valid right to work within the EU
