Job Description

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer

What You Will Work On

  • Design external piping systems based on flow charts, specifications, and component lists
  • 3D modeling of pipes and pipe supports using Solid Edge
  • Review drawings produced by colleagues in India
  • Prepare picking lists and enter materials into SAP
  • Coordinate piping design with building structures and other suppliers’ installations
  • Communicate closely with customers to ensure correct delivery and alignment
  • Contribute to teamwork and collaboration across project managers, production, and design teams
  • Ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and timely delivery of design work
  • Support continuous improvement and alignment with manufacturing and installation practices

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of design experience
  • Strong 3D modeling skills, preferably in piping design
  • Experience with Solid Edge and SAP
  • Ability to manage work independently and deliver high-quality results on time
  • Curious, thorough, and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Practical understanding of manufacturing and installation processes
  • Fluent in Swedish (strongly preferred) and English
