Assignment Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Master Data Solution Architect & SAP MM SME
What You Will Work On
- Own and develop the global material master structure, including classification and variant configuration
- Lead implementation of master data concepts and ensure alignment across processes
- Define rules, templates, and design standards for master data
- Ensure end-to-end data flows and integrations (e.g., MES, planning systems, MDMG)
- Model and enhance core master data processes
- Define material scenarios (e.g., spare parts, chemicals, products)
Data & Migration:
- Support design of material, service, and classification structures
- Map and transform legacy data into SAP S/4HANA
- Support development of variant configuration models
- Coordinate and participate in end-to-end testing
- Conduct training sessions (train-the-trainer and end users)
- Contribute to authorization concepts and data governance
Operational Support:
- Troubleshoot and improve master data processes
- Handle mass updates and data corrections
- Ensure system stability post go-live
- Support new product introduction (NPI) processes
- Contribute to implementation of data governance practices
What You Bring
- Deep expertise in SAP MM including:
- Material Master
- Classification
- Variant Configuration (VC/AVC)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations (design, migration, testing, cutover)
- Strong understanding of master data and cross-functional usage
- Experience with data modeling and information architecture
- Experience with integrations to production and planning systems
- Experience working in large transformation programs
- Strong analytical and structured approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Fluent in English
