Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Analysis SW Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and develop software products for Life Science applications, including instrument control software, user interfaces (GUI), system software, and image analysis software.
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle from initiation to launch.
- Draft and manage requirements and work items for the development backlog.
- Plan and execute your own tasks while contributing to overall team planning.
- Engage in code reviews, create unit tests, and support the creation of high-quality software.
What you bring:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development for Life Science instrumentation or similar products.
- Experience with SCRUM or other agile methodologies.
- Expert programming skills in at least one major language (Python, C++, C#, Java), with extensive experience in Python.
- Proficiency in handling large data sets, including image data and data generated during analysis.
- Experience utilizing dedicated hardware (e.g., GPUs) to enhance software performance.
- Familiarity with tools and libraries such as pytest, SQLite, pandas, and numpy.
- Strong troubleshooting and bug-fixing skills.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience with embedded systems and Python architecture for large-scale projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of JIRA for project management and experience integrating Python with C/C++/Rust are advantageous.
- Understanding of test and verification strategies, including code reviews and unit testing.
- Experience with software deployment setup (e.g., Yocto) is desirable.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
