Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and maintain applications within the Android framework, focusing on AOSP and SystemUI
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in Java and Kotlin
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including interaction and graphic designers, to enhance user experience
Implement automated unit and integration tests as part of the software development lifecycle
Utilize development and build tools such as Gradle and the Soong build system
Operate effectively within a Linux environment

What you bring:

M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin app development
Experience with AOSP and the Android Framework
Familiarity with the Android stack and related development and build tools
Experience with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
A valid Swedish Driver’s license (B-level) for conducting tests in vehicles

It is advantageous if you have experience with:

AIDL and Android HAL
C++ development
Android SystemUI development
