Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Lead and execute the adaptation of three Android applications – Charging, Car Status, and Drive Settings – for the next generation of infotainment systems
Ensure seamless integration with updated screen sizes, resolutions, and orientation formats
Align development with the company’s unified software platform strategy and adhere to provided design specifications
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices, automation, and code quality
Communicate effectively across teams to support and guide the broader organization in software-related matters

What you bring:

Proven experience in Android application development with a strong understanding of modern architecture patterns
Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
At least 6 years of experience in software development using Java and/or Kotlin
Hands-on experience working in a Linux development environment
Proficiency in writing automated unit and integration tests in Java/Kotlin
Experience using version control and CI tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
A collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in team settings
Experience in the automotive and infotainment domains (meritorious)
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Car Weaver, and Teamcenter (meritorious)
Experience working in international and multicultural environments (meritorious)
Valid driver’s license (Category B) (meritorious)
