Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Application Specialist – Trading Systems to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Support a dedicated team responsible for the operation and monitoring of business-critical stock trading systems with very high availability requirements
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, internal development teams, and the Trading/business departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Participate in system follow-up, troubleshooting, and coordination between technical and business stakeholders
- Work with the internal IT function on server capacity planning, production deployments, and infrastructure-related issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, including incident, release, and change management according to ITIL practices
- Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and support system stability through proactive monitoring and issue resolution
What you bring:
- Academic or vocational education in IT, finance, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with stock exchange or securities systems such as Abasec, ProBroker, Infront, or Millistream
- Strong understanding of securities trading and related IT environments
- Knowledge and practical experience with agile methodologies
- Experience with ITIL processes, including incident, release, and change management
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Azure DevOps is an advantage
- Background from the banking or financial sector is meritorious
- Previous experience as a developer or tester is a plus
- Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives while maintaining structure and accountability
