Senior ATEX Expert - 10165

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior ATEX Expert to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Conduct in-depth analysis of installed equipment, focusing on electrical and pneumatic circuits, and evaluate their compatibility with ATEX standards. Create detailed reports and recommend improvements.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle for ATEX equipment, including the selection of ATEX device manufacturers, design review and documentation revision, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), supervising installation, commissioning, and performing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Work closely with equipment suppliers to ensure compliance with ATEX and CE directives throughout the project.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in the design and review of ATEX systems, control cabinets, and safety circuits.
Strong knowledge of ATEX DIRECTIVE 2014/34/EU and CE rules and directives.
Familiarity with machine safety standards (EN ISO 13849-1/-2, EN 61800-5-2).
Practical experience working with production equipment, particularly in ATEX environments.
Preferred certifications include TUV SUD ATEX training, EXAM-CERT Certification (TUV Rheinland), and CompEx Certification IECEx.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large projects with high quality standards.
