Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer (PLC, HMI, SCADA)

Key Responsibilities

Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Implement and validate automation solutions according to CSV and GAMP 5
Drive digitalization initiatives and integration with MES/eBR systems
Work with vision systems for automated inspection (e.g. Cognex)
Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve reliability and data integrity
Act as OT Cybersecurity Lead together with IT
Perform root cause analysis and handle deviations using CAPA processes
Own the lifecycle of computerized systems, including upgrades and obsolescence
Support audits, validations, and technical investigations
Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and system security

Required Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software, or similar
5+ years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in regulated environments
Strong experience with PLC/SCADA (Rockwell, Siemens, FactoryTalk, CodeSys)
Experience with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)
Knowledge of MES/eBR integration, OPC, and industrial networks
Programming experience in Python and SQL
Knowledge of GAMP 5, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, and data integrity
Strong documentation and communication skills
Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus
