Job Description
Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Automation Lead to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Manage and enhance all production-related site security and automation systems, ensuring reliability, robustness against cyber threats, and minimal unplanned downtime.
- Maintain and improve the cybersecurity robustness of the plant, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Oversee plant-wide automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI integration, SCADA, motion control, VFD & Servo drives, and SQLs.
- Lead routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades for automation infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Ensure business continuity by coordinating system updates, maintenance, and automation extensions without disrupting production.
- Manage OT infrastructure and network security across all levels (L0-L3), implementing security patches and maintaining digital asset inventory.
- Drive process innovation and improvement, optimizing line synchronization, communication protocols, and control system efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to integrate automation solutions.
- Monitor and track plant automation capital investments, ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Supervise and coordinate third-party OT providers, ensuring adherence to internal standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in designing, installing, and updating electronic and electrical control systems.
- Complete risk assessments for automation systems and ensure documentation is updated for compliance and operational efficiency.
What You Bring:
- Proven expertise in automation systems.
- 4+ years of experience as a lead automation engineer in industrial automation, particularly in high-speed manufacturing environments.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in OT security, covering areas such as network security, encryption, firewalls, endpoint protection, and remote access management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations.
- Experience in IoT, Industry 4.0, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Fluency in English and the local language.
- Team management capabilities with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to drive technical change and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience).
