Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior Automation Systems Test & Commissioning Engineer
What you will work on
- Develop and implement industrial automation and factory control systems
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC control logic and communication interfaces
- Design, configure, and integrate HMI/SCADA systems with process and quality data
- Capture and clarify technical requirements together with customers and project teams
- Specify and verify interfaces to automation networks and fieldbus systems (TCP/IP, Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET)
- Define test strategies, scopes, test cases, and acceptance criteria
- Execute system testing, validation, and acceptance including FAT and SAT
- Provide global technical support during commissioning and service phases
- Prepare and maintain engineering and test documentation, interface specifications, and HMI user guides
- Collaborate with internal automation teams and external vendors on system integration solutions
What you bring
- University degree or equivalent experience in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems
- Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols and fieldbus networks
- Proven experience with commissioning activities and FAT/SAT in production or process environments
- Experience working with complex automation systems and system integration projects
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with strong documentation skills
- Ability to work in international, customer-facing, and cross-functional project environments
- Willingness to travel for commissioning and service activities
- Fluent English communication skills
