• Lead engineering projects from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges in monitoring distributed systems at scale.
• Design, develop, and implement robust test automation strategies and frameworks that align with product requirements and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases, ensuring thorough automated testing coverage across all product features.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable feedback on code quality.
• Evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and technologies that meet project needs, optimizing the efficiency of the testing process.
• Lead efforts to identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution by coordinating with development teams.
• Provide regular updates on test progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders, highlighting any potential risks or issues that could impact delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements in testing and quality assurance.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Test Lead or in a similar role, with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance.
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript used in test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar, and a solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team, coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensuring software quality.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and experience in testing within cloud environments is a plus.
