Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automotive Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

Lead and coordinate improvement initiatives within drivetrain systems across different truck brands.
Manage and drive activities related to “Red Arrow” aftermarket issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Work both as an assignment manager and design engineer, balancing planning, coordination, and detailed design work.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, production, and aftermarket to ensure alignment and technical quality.
Support development efforts with design reviews, problem analysis, and solution implementation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the drivetrain coordination area.
Work onsite at the customer’s facilities approximately 50% of the time to ensure effective collaboration and project delivery.

What You Bring:

Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
2–6 years of relevant experience within mechanical design or drivetrain development.
Proficiency in CATIA V5 for design and modeling tasks.
Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; Swedish language proficiency is considered a merit.
Experience within the customer’s organization, mechanical design, or drivetrain systems is advantageous.
Structured, proactive, and collaborative approach to managing both technical and organizational tasks.
