Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient data pipelines on the AWS-based Data Platform for Finance, Compliance, and Risk.
- Translate designs and business requirements into efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Automate processes wherever possible, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and data quality routines.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Product Owners to deliver features through Agile Release Trains.
- Participate in the solution design process, contributing technical expertise and insights.
- Work according to DevOps practices by taking shared responsibility for developing, testing, deploying, and running solutions in production.
What you bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Redshift Data Warehouse development.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS data technologies such as S3, Python, IAM, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Spark, Redshift, and Airflow.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Ability to conceptualize complex technical issues and translate them into practical solutions.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data within a business context.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, structured, collaborative, and result-oriented mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly valued experience:
- Data modeling expertise, particularly for Data Warehouses.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial industry.
- Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and Informatica (legacy data platform technologies).
- Experience working with agile frameworks, preferably SAFe.
