Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch
Develop, optimize and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, including runner configuration and automation
Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation
Ensure platform stability, compliance, security and high availability for the SWS platform
Drive automation, standardisation and efficiency improvements across the DevOps toolchain
Support development teams with deployment workflows, integrations, observability and environment management
Contribute to platform architecture, cost optimisation and long-term scalability planning

What you bring:

5–10+ years of senior-level AWS experience in production environments
Deep expertise in ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM and VPC networking
Strong experience with CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK; Terraform expertise is a strong advantage
Advanced skills in GitLab CI/CD design, Docker and container orchestration
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python or Bash)
Good understanding of microservices architecture, API design and integration patterns
Experience with Node.js, Python or .NET is meritorious
Hands-on experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog or Prometheus/OpenTelemetry, including incident handling and performance tuning
