Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Build data solutions by integrating multiple sources to support financial processes and IT needs using the Azure technology stack.
- Provide technical support, manage platform administration, and control access rights for team members.
- Understand business goals, evaluate roadmaps, and design target architectures aligned with technical capabilities.
- Share expertise with architects, stakeholders, and platform experts to ensure best practices.
- Improve and maintain on-premises reporting solutions for consistency and efficiency.
- Develop data architecture focusing on data modeling, quality, and sensitive data protection.
- Document technical specifications and provide architectural guidance in collaboration with business analysts.
- Create POCs and define strategies to migrate existing solutions to the cloud platform.
- Assist in developing business use cases for reporting projects to align with business needs.
- Define and implement architectures for data management and analytics on Azure.
- Ensure all solutions meet client’s frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Support IT teams in technical implementation, testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer processes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business expectations.
What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, including business intelligence and data reporting.
- Expertise in designing and implementing solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Strong understanding of data security across networking, storage, and user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure services like SQL, IAM, and Data Lake.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Qlik is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft on-premises reporting solutions (MS-SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS).
- Proficiency in agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban for project delivery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and challenge decisions when necessary.
- Analytical, organized, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work in complex data environments.
- Proactive, innovative thinker with excellent teamwork skills.
