Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend & Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions and integrations using a modern tech stack including Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
Collaborate within a cross-functional Digital Procurement team to support core procurement and payment processes.
Work with event-driven architecture to ensure reliable, real-time data flow between systems.
Implement and enhance integrations to enable seamless Source-to-Pay processes.
Drive operational data into the central data platform leveraging AWS S3, DBT, Snowflake, and Power BI.
Partner with data analysts to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility for reporting and analytics.

What you bring:

Minimum 3 years of experience in backend and/or data engineering, with proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices.
Solid experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and working with modern data platforms.
Knowledge of P2P processes or ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is considered a plus.
Interest in business-facing configuration and taking ownership of systems.
