Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop backend services within a Microsoft Azure environment as part of a customer master data product team
- Design and maintain high-quality REST APIs with proper versioning and contract management
- Collaborate with multiple teams and understand how the product fits into a complex IT landscape
- Apply event-driven architecture principles for integration and data consistency
- Deliver modular, scalable, and performance-oriented code aligned with business rules
- Contribute to integration schemas, data models, and backend development best practices
- Set up automated testing and CI/CD pipelines incorporating DevSecOps standards
- Ensure product quality, performance, and maintainability aligned with long-term goals
What you bring:
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, and Microsoft Azure
- Deep knowledge in REST API design, implementation, and maintenance
- API-first development approach with a focus on clarity, performance, and maintainability
- Solid understanding of scalable and resilient distributed systems
- Proficiency with event-driven and cloud-native architecture patterns
- Experience in clean, structured coding that supports real-world business processes
- Ability to work with modern DevOps practices and secure development pipelines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Tech stack:
- Primary language: C# (.NET 9 and later)
- Architecture: Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Microservices
- Integration: RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- Monitoring: OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing
