Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Build and maintain scalable backend and data systems that support high-volume financial transactions, reconciliation, reporting and regulatory compliance
Contribute to the modernization of existing solutions and development of new features related to payment fees
Design robust, traceable and maintainable system components and services
Develop modular platform functionality that increases autonomy for the finance organization
Transform complex business processes into clear, effective technical solutions
Collaborate closely with product, engineering and finance teams to align architecture, requirements and delivery
Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable and optimized for long-term sustainability
Maintain high standards in code quality, testing and documentation

What you bring:

Deep expertise in backend or data development with the ability to work across both areas
Experience with large-scale transactional and financial data flows (e.g., Spark, Flink, Beam) and Java backends
Strong foundation in system design, data structures and algorithms
Experience with cloud-native development and deployment, preferably in Google Cloud Platform
Ability to think critically about system design and build maintainable, scalable solutions
Clear communication skills with the ability to explain ideas and ask the right questions
Strong collaboration mindset and ability to contribute to a positive team environment
Comfort working in fast-moving, partially unclear environments and driving progress despite changing requirements
User-focused approach to platform development with attention to usability and long-term value
Commitment to high-quality engineering practices including testing and documentation
Curiosity, independence and a continuous improvement mindset
